In this video we show you two methods to enhance your drone footage (or any footage for that matter) in Final Cut Pro X with motion tracking and basic visual effects. The first method is using the motion tracking tools that came with update 10.6 of FCPX. This allows you to track moving objects in a scene and attach elements such as text to that motion.

The second method we show you uses a plugin by MotionVFX called mTracker 3D. This plugin tracks the entire scene and extracts camera motion data that allows you to add stationery visual elements to your footage that remain in place irrespective of the camera movement.
