Why a Pusher Whoop?
Benefit: mainly the larger space on top, bigger props on smaller frame
security! (fly near ppl without risk)
Negative: taking off from gras after crash..., louder, less efficient

Props? GemFan D63! (1.5mm hole)

BF4.3 was already installed on the FC! PIDs from their CLI file feel ok!
had to change motor direction (this is now possible directly in BF config? - nice!)
Not sure about their PIDs tho. I think they want to much and this burns the motors? But even with tamed down PIDs and more filtering, my left front motor gets too hot to touch after 3mins!
ISSUES while building / testing:
soldering on the plug-sockets for the motor wire connectors - couldnt do it - too small, instead I used the slightly larger direct pads and soldered the motor wires on directly (plug&play would have been so nice!)
After 2 short flights (normal cruising, nothing hard, no crashes), one motor started to stutter. Thought that's airmode on the ground and kept trying, fried an Mosfet on one ESC.
Used the same 4 motors (but one of them had burnt out) - the dead motor also killed my 2nd FC :(
Had to use 3 FC AIO boards...

3rd FC AIO (this time GepRCF411 I had in a salvage quad):
used a new motor and checked the others (for coocked windings)
flew fine for 2mins, than again motor failer - again a cooked winding.
FC still fine. Motor Quality?
For the last attempt I installed 4 Emax motors (1404/3850kv) - they still get hot.
PIDS: Dterm too high? P1= 0.7 D Gain
FILTER: Gyro to 0.8, DTerm to 0.85 (more filtering)
CRSF RX (could be plugged into the FC!) - telemetry worked, but NO MOVEMENT in RECEIVER Tab!?!?!?
Took me a while to figure this one out!
Thought the CRSF Nano is DOA,
NappyFPV pointed me to the SBUS solder jumper on the AIO board.
!!!(if you DONT use SBUS, you have to "switch" this to DSM) RTFM!
YAW Washout: yaw spin after dive (when you hit throttle)
- change your flying style to avoid those conditions (throttle earlier)
- props in/out can help on some whoops
- raise digital idle (will make the whoop floaty, but not stall. Go to far and it'll fly away though, so take care)
- add more power (go up a cell if you're whoop can handle it)
